The Pakistan cricket team set out on an important journey on Wednesday morning, heading to India to compete in the highly anticipated ICC World Cup 2023. This tournament is a major cricketing event in which top cricketing nations compete for glory.

The traveling group includes not only the 18 players who will represent Pakistan on the field but also 13 members of the support staff. These support personnel are critical in ensuring the team’s safety, preparation, and logistics throughout the tournament.

Morne Morkel, a former South African cricketer, is one of the notable names set to join the team in Dubai. In addition, renowned cricket coach Mickey Arthur is expected to meet with the team once they arrive in India.

The team is scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad, India, at 8:15 p.m. local time on September 27. This is the starting point for their World Cup campaign. Pakistan will play two warm-up matches to prepare for the upcoming intense competition.

The first of these practice games is scheduled for September 29 against New Zealand, giving the team a chance to fine-tune their skills and strategies. Following that, on October 3, just before the start of the World Cup, they will play their second and final warm-up match against Australia.

These warm-up matches allow teams to assess their form, adjust to the conditions, and make any necessary adjustments before the tournament begins.

Pakistan’s supporters and cricket fans around the world are looking forward to their performance in this prestigious event, hoping for a successful campaign in the ICC World Cup 2023.
