Pakistan won the third ODI match against Afghanistan by 59 runs on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. This was the final match of the three-match ODI series, which Pakistan won 3-0.

- Pakistan scored 268/8 in 50 overs after winning the toss and opting to bat first. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored half-centuries, while Fareed Ahmad and Gulbadin Naib took two wickets each for Afghanistan.

- Babar Azam was named the Player of the Series for scoring 185 runs in three matches at an average of 61.66 and a strike rate of 86.44. He also became the fastest batsman to reach 14 ODI centuries in terms of innings (81).
