Forget about 200 Megapixels! This Mobile Brand Is Supposedly Working on 320MP Camera Sensors for Its Phones

The era of the 200-megapixel camera is coming to an end, as the possibility of 320 and 440-megapixel cameras appearing in smartphones approaches.

According to Android Authority, a South Korean company is working on a 440-megapixel HU1 sensor as well as a 320-megapixel camera sensor. Although the story does not indicate whether the 440-megapixel camera will be integrated into smartphones, the business has previously stated its intention to introduce photo sensors with a resolution comparable to the human eye.

The 320-megapixel camera, on the other hand, is expected to be fitted into smartphones capable of taking an 80-megapixel image over the next two years. Mobile phone processors capable of supporting a 320-megapixel camera have recently been developed.

The 320-megapixel camera appears to be the leading feature in smartphones after the period of 200-megapixel cameras.
