Elon Musk, renowned billionaire and chairman of Tesla, said genocide should not be acceptable to anyone, when speaking about the hatred that Israel has been fuelling among Palestinians for its relentless attacks in Gaza.
He iterated that the attacks by the occupation forces would instil abomination towards Israel and create more members for Hamas — a Palestinian resistance group.
Musk’s comment came while he appeared on the Lex Fridman Podcast on YouTube.
“If you’re not going to just outright commit genocide, like against an entire people, which obviously will not be acceptable, really shouldn’t be acceptable to anyone. Then you’re going to leave basically a lot of people alive who subsequently, you know, hate Israel,” he said.
The Middle East Eye, a UK-based news website, shared an extract from Musk’s interview for the podcast on X, formerly Twitter, where he spoke about how for every Hamas member being killed, many are being created by Israel.
“For every Hamas member that you kill, how many did you create? And if you create more than you kill, you’ve not succeeded,” he maintained.
When commenting on the hatred that Israel is fuelling among Palestinians through its barbaric actions, the world’s richest man said: “It’s safe to say that if, you know, if you kill somebody’s child in Gaza, you’ve made at least a few Hamas members, who will die just to kill an Israeli.”
Musk’s remarks come at a time when Netanyahu’s administration and his occupation forces have claimed at least 11,078 Palestinians, who were residents of the Gaza Strip.
Thousands among the Strip’s populations are now fleeing what is now being referred to as a catastrophic forced migration and displacement of innocent civilians, who are being targeted in an act of xenophobia and hatred by Israel.
